Reel Retreat
Welcome to Reel Retreat. This former resort clubhouse has been converted to the perfect lake house getaway, sitting on 2.45 lakeside acres with a firepit, dock and private swimming beach. The house sits between Itasca State Park and Park Rapids, and is just a 10 minute drive to each. There are wonderful bike, hiking and snowmobile trails all around the area and great shops to explore in town. There is no shortage of things to do in the area, or you can just stay in and take advantage of the lake!

This lake house has everything you will need.
- You will have the entire (air conditioned) house to yourselves, along with a gentle sloping lake lot, dock and beach area.
- The main level of the house can currently sleep 13 with 6 beds in 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (plus 3 rollaway beds). It has a great room with wet bar, and a fully equipped kitchen/dining area. The lower level can sleep 5 with 4 beds and 1 bathroom. Towels, beach towels, shampoo, laundry soap and hairdryers are provided.
Main Level:
Bear (NE) bedroom with private bathroom and fireplace. King bed plus 2 twin beds (daybed with trundle)
Moose (SW) bedroom with large private bathroom. King bed.
Fox (Black/White) bedroom. Queen bed.
Deer (Gold) bedroom. Queen bed.
- Three additional twin foldout beds available.
- One XL beanbag in great room available for sleeping.
- One pack-n-play available.
Lower Level:
1 large bedroom with bunkbeds, queen and twin bed, bathroom and a family room with TV. (Bathroom will be remodeled in 2025.)

We are fully licensed as a Short-Term Rental with the MN Dept of Health as well as Hubbard County.
PARKING: East driveway (2 cars). West driveway (overflow parking), Camper & Trailer parking with 1 hookup is permitted (campers or trailers up to 20 ft can navigate our circle driveway).
PLEASE NOTE: COVID-19 government imposed travel restrictions may impact your travel plans. Please be sure to check and follow government guidelines for travel in this area.

- Noise: Please limit loud music & noise to be considerate of neighbors who are not on vacation. Voices carry well here, so check your volume around the deck, beach and fire pit, especially during the county-designated quiet hours for short-term rentals, which are between 10pm-7am.
